People interested in dahn yoga may find the movie Easy A to be an inspiration as well as a modern twist on the age-old theme of personal development in the high school environment. The movie is a retelling of the classic book The Scarlett Letter, except that this one involves teenagers and a purportedly promiscuous high school girl. This funny film is sure to provide a comedic stress relief at the end of a long working day.
Emma Stone stars as Olive Penderghast, who listens to "Pocketful of Sunshine," a smart, albeit slightly nerdy girl who enjoys being carefree. She lies to her friend about having lost her virginity to a boy and the rumors start to fly at their high school. Amanda Bynes stars as an uber-religious girl named Marianne who is full of judgment and condemnation for Olive.
Olive takes her new reputation in strides and even wears a red-lettered A on her clothes. This is really about as close as this movie comes to resembling The Scarlett Letter, however the film is a funny one and does a nice job of entertaining audiences while providing an inspirational storyline of self discovery in a California suburban high school.
