Energy Dance

This exercise, also known as Dahn-mu, will increase your energy awareness while also releasing your natural inner grace and expressiveness. It is also very healing, as your body will take postures that will help realign the body and improve circulation. You should develop some ability in the previous exercise, the Energy Meditation, before attempting this. In the third step of Brain Wave Vibration, you may find that your body naturally moves into this Energy Dance.
Begin by follow the directions for the Energy Meditation on page 150.

Focusing on the palms, allow your hands to follow the flow of energy freely. Allow your body to be enveloped by the energy and move accordingly, free from inhibition and restriction.

Jang-saeng Walking

Walking is a natural way to bring rhythmic vibrations to your body, which perhaps is why it is so healthful and refreshing. With every step, you send a wave of energy through your body. Jang-saeng Walking capitalizes on this by adjusting the posture of the body for ideal energy flow.

Your hands and concentrate fully on the space

Now allow about 2—4 inches of space between your hands and concentrate fully on the space. Imagine that your shoulders, arms, wrists, and hands are floating in a vacuum, weightless.

Pull your hands apart and push them closer together again as you maintain your concentration. You may feel a tingling sensation or a magnetic attraction pulling your hands toward each other or pushing them apart.

When the sensation becomes more real, pull your hands farther apart or push them closer together. The sensation will expand and become stronger.

Breathe in and out, slowly and deeply, 3 times. Rub your hands together briskly until they are warm, and then gently sweep your palms over your face, neck, and chest.

The sensation grows stronger

At first, the feeling might be subtle. Do your best to clear your mind and focus on that sensation. If you find it difficult to feel the sensation, try clapping your hands several times before increasing sensitivity. Keep practicing this, and soon you will find that the sensation grows stronger. Sit comfortably on the floor or on a chair, and straighten your back.

Place your hands on your knees with your palms facing up and close your eves. Relax your body, especially your neck and shoulders. Inhale deeply; let go of any remaining tension while exhaling. (Soft meditative music in the background may be helpful.) Raise your hands slowly to chest level, with your palms facing each other but not touching. First concentrate on any sensation you may feel between
your palms.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory. Ralph Waldo Emerson, philosopher IN owes YOU HAS ARRIVED at the most important part of Brain Wave Vibration the actual practice of the method. The principles behind it are important, and I hope you will keep them in mind for continued inspiration and guidance. But they are all of no use unless you put these principles into deliberate, intentional practice.

The mind-set you keep during this practice is very important. Please approach it with an emphatic sense of intention. Plan on using this as a tool by which you will transform yourself, not just as a physical fitness routine. Believe fully that a perfected version of you waits just below the surface of your existence, and use this method as a way to shake off all the false layers of identification that have been standing in your way.

As you practice, hold in your mind a picture of the person you want to be. Visualize the picture in full color with every minuscule detail in place.

Is this information truthful?

The most important point is to assess the truth or falsehood of the information you receive. As you advance in your ability to tap into the vibrations of the universe, you will also gain natural ability to discern right from wrong and truth from falsehood.

You will learn to trust your intuitive feelings in this regard. When something feels right, you will know it is right. When it is in accord with your true self, you will recognize it as truth; when it is not, you will also recognize that. David R. Hawkins has shown in his studies that the body can perceive truth and falsehood intuitively. If in doubt, just ask your brain— not the thinking brain but the intuitive brain. It always knows and is ready to share its wisdom.

I believe that there is a link between disease and the health of our brain waves, and the health of our brain waves is determined by the quality of information we possess.

Piece of positive information by Ilchi Lee

Fortunately, your brain waves can respond to positive information quickly. The body, by contrast, may take quite a while to recover from poor nutrition, if it can recover at all. You have seen the brain’s resiliency if you have ever seen your mood change rapidly. You may have been having a terrible day and feeling very sullen, when all of a sudden some piece of positive information—maybe an upbeat song, good news from a friend, a child’s smile—turns everything around for you. Part of the message of Brain Wave Vibration, however, is that you don’t have to wait for these special moments. It is remarkably simple to choose the quality of information entering your brain and to control the resulting health of your brain waves.

The Consciousness Connection

The level at which your brain waves resonate could be equated with the level at which your consciousness resonates. Hawkins. Another tendency of the ego is to collect information just for the sake of stockpiling an impressive array of knowledge. Knowledge can be a helpful tool, but hording it only clouds the mind and distracts you from your highest intentions.

Brain possesses abilities in words of Ilchi Lee educator

I would contend that this method of evaluation works because the subconscious brain possesses abilities to evaluate the relative vibrations of consciousness far more accurately than even than the most well developed thinking mind. The rational mind can make evaluations with some level of accuracy. if given proper information about an object. But the intuitive mind can sense the relative truthfulness of these things immediately. This ability is evidence of amazing internal wisdom, which the thinking brain can never hope to attain, even after years of experience

One student of mine was a reporter, and he was constantly bombarded with negative information because he was in charge of reporting all sorts of negative news—accidents, crime, and the like. He was soon plagued with health problems, including deep fatigue and unnatural hair loss. On top of that, he smoked and drank too much to relieve the stress. Now his health has improved because he uses Brain Wave Vibration to clear away the negative information from his mind.

Determine consciousness levels

Each level has corresponding effects on a person’s reality. We all have the potential to move up and down on this scale as our moods, emotions, and attitudes change, but the level to which we habitually return is considered our regular consciousness level.

To determine consciousness levels, Hawkins uses a process called kinesiology, which shows the connection between the body, the brain, and its various states of consciousness. He determines the level of a person or object by testing its effect on human musculature. A lower consciousness level will cause muscle to go weak, while a higher consciousness level will strengthen the muscle. Even when the subject is not aware of the object used in the test, consciousness levels calculate consistently. For example, if pictures of Mother Teresa and Adolph Hitler are placed in envelopes, the subject will still demonstrate a higher level of consciousness with the first.

Dahn Yoga Books Value To The World

An extract from Ilchi Lee Books

What I do know is that whatever your mission in life, you will be of great service to humanity. I believe that every person has a great internal desire to find a harmonious way of living on the planet and to contribute something of value to the world. In Korean we call this the Hong-ik ideal, which refers to the desire to be beneficial, not just to you but also to all of humanity.

This sort of mind-set can be a great source of continual hope in your life. People who have a clear sense of purpose are never hopeless because they always know they can make a difference, even if just one step at a time.

There is a natural progression to life that unfortunately many of us have stepped away from. It is like many of us are caterpillars who have decided not to become butterflies. Or maybe we have just forgotten that we are able to become butterflies.

Ilchi Lee Earth Citizen Nature Deficit Disorder

Author Richard Louy, in his book Last Child in the U’ocds: Saving Our Childrenjrom Nature-Deficit Disorder, suggests that mam of the mental and emotional problems that have become increasingly prevalent in children are linked to their decreasing amount of direct contact with nature. He cites one study in which kids with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) were found to focus better on tasks when in natural settings instead of urban surroundings.

If you find yourself unable to concentrate, perhaps you will agree that not only children can fall victim to nature-deficit disorder. I would contend that part of the reason adults are increasingly stricken with anxiety, depression, and other forms of psychological distress is because they are simply not grounded.
